Officer Russell Johnson, from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, is on patrol when a pedestrian runs up to him, panicked, asking for help. After separating the men and taking down both statements, a civilian tried to buy some dope but got robbed instead. The suspect was arrested for possession of cocaine.

COPS has been documenting police work for over three decades. This episode was filmed in 2000.
