Cedar Grey is a cannabis industry pioneer living
with his family in the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. He and his
wife founded Siskiyou Sungrown in 2014 to provide the highest quality
cannabis and hemp wellness products. Cedar served four years as a
governor-appointed Oregon Cannabis Commissioner, advising the state on
medical cannabis policy.
Cedar begins episode one discussing the history
of human cannabis use. Cannabis is one of humanity’s earliest cultivated
crops, beginning around 12,000 years ago in central Asia. It has an
established history of safe medicinal use spanning from ancient China to
present-day America. The most common ailments that people use
cannabis for today include pain, sleep, digestive issues, cancer, seizures,
muscle spasms, depression, and anxiety.
